Have been maintaining ongoing communication with Kyler, while there is technically not much prototyping to do I have been attempting twice this week to show him the new program intended through team viewer and have been unsuccessful due to technical issues on his end. I did explain the information he was to study on the website and know for prototyping in the future, I am assuming he has been looking over this but will check with him often and send out an email through liaison to be sure he still has the link. I plan to message our other tester on leave this week to see how he fares. Please let me know if there is anythng else to be put out to them.
I have maintained active communication with Kyler, though he has continued issues with both the software downloads and other things regarding prototyping he seems to be making an active effort to try and is making good communication on a daily if not every other day.
All pages are easy to navigate, however there are a few things I did want to inquire about:
Under active projects, I was only able to view information on one (fully)...though the links were available for all the "projects" information was only available regarding the card game.
Also, there is two buttons for forum, both are for game testers but one says blog and the other is listed as something else. I just want to know why and what this is used for?
I'm not really having any problems navigating or experiencing any real errors per-say...only that it seems there may be missing information or extra information. I did learn alot and am very excited to possibly try out this card game.
I would like to learn more about this others (if there is info about them?)
I'm currently playing a mmo card game on my iphone and its sooo addictive! I never thought I would play it so much, its crazy! Very cool format, I'll tell you guys about it on skype
Reviewed new changes to help/profile links at the bottom of interface.
Everything in those areas are easy to navigate, clear to understand and I really like the way its laid out. Some of those words and terms listed in help may be used in some meetings and while I have a familiarity with some programming and even some of the software...a few of those I didn't know, so it was nice not having to ask...and having them there for reference.
I felt the rewards system was clear, fair...(unexpected?). I think its cool, but I signed up to volunteer...I guess rewards are fun though. :)
Also looked over brief changes to buttons for forum and blog. (which I think I spoke about in my November review, all of those have been cleared up!)
Only thing I noticed was that, under both forum and blog...The title "Game Tester" is hyperlinked to nowhere. I looked on both pages. Not sure if this was a html slip or if it was meant to go to the profiles page or whatever.
I loved seeing the basic screenshots for CoW, its like little teasers here and there. Can't wait to see more.
Okay so, pretty much all the stuff I wrote in my last review (in November) has either been changed, updated or fixed. So I need to rewrite and add some new things and will post most of them under my research part.
I forgot to say this in my November post, that I had to shuffle through an old email to get to the login page (then bookmark it), perhaps adding a small hyperlink at the bottom of the basic landing page for thoucurator.com for a login to this interface. I remembered this because I am actually on a different computer today and had to shuffle through my emails again. :) Maybe I missed something?
Each time I come through here its a little better and easier to navigate, always an upgrade.
Hey guys, watch this...gonna hit the request approval button. :o
