Introduce yourself to the team in your role using the forums by creating a "New Thread". Please include your name, skype id, and any other information you would like to share with your team. Once you have completed this task please add your time using the "Productivity" button and then change the status to "Requesting Approval" so the lead knows it is complete.
I made one script for drawing recktangle that need to be attached to camera. And one script that need to be attached to game objects that we want to be selectable. Now starting to read how to make one click selection.
Made Person class to save data, xmlDataContainer for colection of persons and load method for reading xml file. And XMLControler class which can be attached to empty gameObject. Tested it with James example which can be found in same folder.
Played with scripts and reading online to try to find best way to put everything into single script capable of dealing with selecting demands. For now i think il go with script attached to empty game object rather then one attached to every unit and building.
Had meeting with James and Jonathan about being assigned to lead position for programmers. They explained me what to expect and how continuous agendas are working. After that i got on website and review continuous agendas to get myself familiar with it.
Setted up three building script so now you can chose type in editor and when played unity will fill stats for you based on bulding class. It will also handle behaviors like making units, mine resorces or attack enemy.
I started on adapting building creation script before meting, had to download latest version of project first. Had meeting with Jonathan, we integrated last script in mvp. After meeting i refactored that script and checked in.
I updated script for laying buildings, now they will lay smoothly over ground and they wont overlap with other structures with layer "building". if there are couple buildings on ground it may seem that it jumps around, but its just because its trying to find free space to lay down.
Meting with James about Resource folder, button images and Active/inactive state, tags and layers, hiring new programmer for project, making agendas for xml model for units and structures, making agendas for hashing out layers and tags and finding good way to use them. Updating forum post for tags and layers. Im gonna put here time from few days ago when i did research on Resource folder and how to reference prefabs without using drag/drop every time.
meeting with James and programmer team. Discussed things done so far. James introduced new programmers to standards. After that short meeting with designers, explained them why they missing tags, layers and where to find them. Talked about bugs they are having with MVP. After that I requested new agenda.
Aaron Francis: -Script tweks for mvp; camera is mot clipping anymore, border for camera is working good for this level, camera tilt is working, its a bit slow but that should be easy to change if needed.
Fix camera bug; wasn’t able to reproduce bug so I think it’s fixed now.

Khais woon; -take a look at LookAt() method; he said he take a look, there is no other description from his side. Aaron is already using that method in animations so that is fine.
Meeting with team, we discussed what needs to be included into vertical slice; timer for creating unit/building, event driven animation class, game manager for time driven stuff, one officer and reinforcement ability, list of units/buildings included that can be found on team sketchboard. After that we got trough programming agendas that are done last week, also mentioned Aaron suggestion for bug report page (made a forum for now), selection circle redesign, gui building/unit creation redesign, code documentation wiki. After that i made few agendas and reorganize programming agendas a bit.
Meting with James. I showed him work I done on refactoring, movement and selection. Showed him bug i found in movement. We discussed how we can reference scripts in unity. I made agenda for that, and also fixed movement bug that day.
meeting with James, we go trough scripts. I need to make agendas for adding region instruction in top of each script, make camera move faster when shift is held. He told me that he will have more info for me after meeting with Jonathan.
Made changes to scriptCombatUI, scriptSelectionManager, ScriptUnit...now building buttons only work when unit is selected. Depending on unit type it’s already set that not all units will be able to build stuff.
