Your task is to review our project management system's user interface including all menu links and buttons.
After you are done, log the time spent on this first agenda item as Productivity hours because we require this task of all new members. Then adjust the task status from Assigned to Request Approval and submit the changes after you are finished with this task.
Agenda items help members remember their work and keep team members informed of the current progress of the project. For the agenda items, we differentiate between research and productivity hours.
Productivity hours include anything that helps create the game or directly helps Thou Curator.
Research hours include any time spent educating yourself on how to complete an agenda item. If a member was assigned a task they did not know how to complete, then they would research how to do it and then record their research time at the end of the day.
After research is complete, the member will complete the actual task and then log their productivity hours. This split between research and productivity hours helps our team leaders better assess the difficulty of a task.
If you have any questions, please Skype or email your group leader for more instructions. You can do this by going to the liaison section towards the top right of the project management system and then hovering over your group. Look at the listed members, and one will say (Lead).

I am currently working on reading the API and documentation. I have a demo scene up, a basic cube with an animation imported and have a script that sends a log to the console when I press the spacebar. Next step is making the animation play when the spacebar is pushed and also pause, possibly resume. more research is needed.
I continue to modify code and setting to get the animation to work correctly. For some reason I am running into issues with the animation not looping or moving the object as desired. Current animation is supposed to translate but sometimes rotates the object and will also scale the object from 2.3 times to 100 times the size. Asked team for assistance with troubleshooting.
I can get the animation to play and the animation works in other programs correctly. I am unsure if it is how I am importing it or if its a mismatch between blender and the engine but I used the settings suggested in the forum. I believe the task is complete but my animation/ model is just not working correctly.
I was able to get the camera to move around with a border around the edge, also to toggle it on and off with the escape key. As well as being able to click anywhere and drag the screen around. Still testing and ensuring no other requirements are needed.
So I was unable to get the raytracing to work properly, I have the mouse wheel to work with moving the camera up and down. Unfortunately the camera does not move in and out (assuming that is the desired effect) but I figured with the time, this could work for now. I was able to detect the ray hitting things but was having difficulty setting a distance for the raycast. I believe this product is a pretty decent start.
The edge has a border for the mouse to move the camera around and hitting escape will toggle whether it moves or not (possibly for a menu option or just in gameplay). Scrolling the mouse moves the camera move up and down. clicking anywhere on the screen allows you to pan the view.
