We discussed the possibility of status ailments to not only minimize wording on cards, but be more newbie friendly where a player will see a key word, and automatically have a good idea of what the card's function is on the battlefield.
Key words are common in all card games, and save time and effort in developing game functionality. Key words also help set a standard for what's to be expected of a card, and the numeral values can be changed slightly for variation in power. This may be especially true for Century of War which will want to differate different cards for warfare, and some key words will be better suited for ground soldiers than for vehicles.
